About Us
Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work in the community, enriching the lives of people with many different care needs to live their best lives possible. We provide innovative and bespoke services to thousands of people across Scotland and England.
How We Began
We were founded in 1988 as one of the pioneers of the 'Care in the Community Agenda', which set out to support often-institutionalised people leaving long-stay hospitals. Our goal today is the same as it was back then: to help others lead better, fuller lives in the community through high-quality care services.

Our Values

Our Vision
We exist to enable people to lead the best lives possible. We aim to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect in the community.
And that resonates in our vision of “Your Life, Your Choice”.
Best Lives Possible
Best Lives Possible is more than our organisational strategy, it's our way of life. When we ask ourselves why we exist - in every team, every department, at every level - the answer is the same: so that the people we support, and the people who support them, can live the best lives possible.

Pioneering Partnerships
Through our partnerships with other organisations, sporting bodies and charities, we're able to create incredible opportunities for our people. This year we partnered with National Museums Scotland, bringing together the people we support to form a Scottish Creativity Club. The club gave people the opportunity to tell stories through art, poetry and songs, and allowed participants to celebrate Scotland together.
